Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, share and protect personal information.

Last updated 3 November 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DLX Africa Holdings handles personal information collected through this website. It is written to meet the requirements of Botswana’s Data Protection Act, 2024.

1. Who we are

DLX Africa Holdings (“DLX Africa”, “we”, “us”) is a diversified operating group based in Gaborone, Botswana. We are responsible for the personal information you give us through this website. The businesses in the group have their own websites and their own privacy notices.

2. Information we collect

  • Information you give us. When you use an enquiry form we collect your name, email address, phone number, company (if you give it), the kind of enquiry you are making and your message. If you apply to our early-careers programme we also collect the details you include about your qualifications and interests.
  • Technical information. Our web host records standard technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the website running.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, to route it to the right business in the group, to assess applications you make to us, to keep this website secure and working, and to meet our legal obligations.

4. Cookies and website analytics

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. More detail is in our Cookie Policy. If we add analytics in future we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

5. Marketing communications

We will only send you marketing communications if you have asked for them or have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time. Using an enquiry form does not sign you up for marketing.

6. How we share information

We share your information with the business or businesses in the group that can help with your enquiry, and with service providers who help us run this website and our enquiry system, under obligations to protect it. We may also disclose information where the law requires. We do not sell personal information.

7. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected, or as the law requires, and then delete or anonymise it.

9. Social media

We link to our LinkedIn page. If you interact with us there, the platform’s own privacy policy applies to that interaction.

10. Your rights

Subject to the law, you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to give you a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw any consent you have given. You may also complain to the data protection authority established under Botswana’s Data Protection Act, 2024. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below.

11. Third-party websites

This website links to websites we do not control, including the websites of the businesses in the group. This policy does not apply to them. This website also loads its web fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google when a page loads.

12. Updates to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
